Hilary Metz is a licensed attorney admitted to practice in the States of Florida and New York and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Hilary grew up in North Carolina and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from North Carolina State University. Growing up, Hilary took yearly trips to Miami to cheer on the Miami Hurricanes, which led her to move to Miami in 2005. Hilary graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Florida International University College of Law. As an evening student, throughout law school, Hilary ran her own consulting company for legal services and gained valuable experience working with several solo practitioners and small boutique firms.
As a result for her passion of Business/Corporate Law and Intellectual Property/Entertainment Law, Hilary currently works on numerous complex business litigation cases, corporate matters, contracts, and with entertainment clients.
Prior to law school she worked in the dependency field for children in foster care in Miami-Dade County for 3 and 1/2 years. This proved to be an unbelievable experience in many different areas of law; including juvenile, criminal, and family court.

Member and legal counsel to the Haitian Culinary Alliance. The Haitian Culinary Alliance was founded in 2011 as a Florida not-for-profit organization with the goal of spreading knowledge and enjoyment of Haitian foods and the history of Haiti. As the legal counsel and a member of the Haitian Culinary Alliance (“HCA”), Hilary Metz enjoys the best of both worlds-VIP invites to top Chefs events and getting to taste all of the food. The Haitian Culinary Alliance was founded by three chefs in South Florida.

Volunteer for the James Jones Legacy Foundation. The James Jones Legacy Foundation provides educational training and camps for underprivileged children throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County Florida. Volunteering has always been important to Hilary Metz. When Hilary met one of the directors for the James Jones Foundation she knew she wanted to be involved. It was a great experience and honor for her to participate and volunteer in 2013 Summer Camp Broward section at Nova University. Hilary looks forward to continue volunteering for the Foundation for years to come.
